I think the biggest problem is that most people don&#039;t have the tools, time or capacity to build their own EV cars. I&#039;d guess less than 10% of car owners change their own gas, let alone know how, so building a drive train mights be a bit difficult :)  It would be cool though if it were modular enough that anyone with basic tools could do it though, wouldn&#039;t it?</description>
